It is clear in every way that the arrogant Artemis Fowl is a pure genius after Colfer demonstrates his skill in almost every subject and at the same time inducing vibrancy and intrigue into the plot. Colfer creates a balance between exhilarating action and drama making this book highly entertaining. Although this book is both witty and creative, the romance in this series is dull and indistinct. Recommended for lovers of action and wit.
