Written by Chris Colfer, the Wishing Spell’s main protagonists, Alex and Conner Bailey, are transported to a different world where fairy tales exist. In order for them to return home, they must use the wishing spell to escape, but unfortunately they are not the only ones searching for the wishing spell. They must battle the notorious evil queen to travel back home. Great for intermediate young readers to advance their reading experience following books after books of junior fairy tale stories in their early childhood. It adds depth to the joy of reading. This book was the first novel that I thoroughly enjoyed and boosted my love of reading. Can you believe that I read the first three books of this series six times each! Sadly, the last few books in the series are not as vivid as the first several.
